“The Bush’ is the third marked release from the eclectic Oxytokin boys who have been busy at the work this year. The year marked massive changes in the lives of both individuals. Tom has successfully launched his debut Fossils EP entitled “Signals” via No Qualms Records, while touring up, down and all over Australia with his band WAAX. Joshua has been busy with Twizted Lotus completing his solo album “Lunation” under his other pseudonym Disttractive and also launching his own production and events label Oxytocin Productions. Despite their busy lives they’ve still managed to find time to put together this collection of works inspired by the Australian outback we so love. The outdoor festival scene has changed both of their lives significantly and helped to shape the men that they are today. They would like to thank Natalie and Olive for putting up with our chaos and conniptions; we love and adore you. Pretty much we think that the sun shines out of your every orifice. To all of the Twizted crew where would we be without you; in particular Ajita the mad dog that he is! Thank you to our family for the guidance and for helping shaping us. To the friends we hold dear; and that hold us dear. And to our fans for you never ending support. We wouldn't be here without your ears. And with that we leave you with the following thoughts to ponder upon while immersing yourself:
"From the morning forest, noises came; ancestral being travelling through frequencies to influence our modern world. In a day and age of disconnection and deep social change, we find that we are in need of a return to our roots. The earth is calling for us to help and with it our spirits. Our spirits that are alive, that soar and rise above the world, allowing us to look down upon the earth that we so love. As you dig your feet into this earth and give thanks to the world that we know for providing abundance: listen to the rhythms of the earth and the pounding driving thump of BASS!"
